Role : Assessment of the resistance capacity of the casing under pressure and in negative pressure
The mechanical resistance to deflection of the casing corresponds to the greatest distortion of the panels under a given pressure or negative pressure, as the difference in terms of distance between a reference plane situated outside the unit in nil pressure and the external surface subjected to the test pressure. The deflection determines the mechanical resistance.
